In this course students gain a comprehensive understanding of legal principles and institutions as well as a thorough and critical understanding of core areas of law and legal theory. Students develop professional, clinical and legal analysis skills including traditional and modern legal research methods, legal writing, advocacy and alternative dispute resolution. In the commerce component, students learn how to apply business principles to contemporary business practices with a focus on accounting, financial planning, decision-making and control in organisations.
